Venetian Macao Resort Hotel
The largest casino in the world is the Venetian Casino located in Macao, in southern China, and was named after its “little brother” Venetian Casino Hotel in Las Vegas.
The American billionaire Sheldon Adelson and his wife Miriam made the opening of the hotel complex which houses the casino. Adelson, who is the owner of the group Las Vegas Sands Corp., stated that his aim is to highlight Macao as a major city for gambling is Asia.
Adelson said ”It was really a dream for many years” in the opening ceremony. ” I wanted always to create a city as the capital of entertainment like Las Vegas in Asia” he also said, and stressed the importance of combining work and entertainment, which is something he wants to achieve for each of the 20 million tourists who visit Macao on an annual basis.
The Venetian is twice the size of that in Las Vegas, which gave the incentive to create that in Macao China. The casino surface area is 550 acres and has 3,400 slot machines, that they will soon reach 6000, and 800 tables with gambling casino games. The hotel has 3,000 luxurious suites, theatre capacity of 15,000 spectators and 350 luxurious shops. The decoration is inspired as it was expected mainly from Venice, while an important role played by Chinese culture in decorative options.
The city of Macao in China, an ancient colony of Portugal, is a city with explosive growth. ”44 major projects are already underway and are expected to be completed within the next 2 years, said the chairman of Las Vegas Sands Corp., William Weidner, who added that the group’s goal is to increase the average stay of tourists from 3 to 4 days. A new “Las Vegas City” is reproduced in Macao and is expected to yield profits of billions of dollars, but also lead to huge investments. So the biggest casino in the world now is located in China!!

They dreamed of being rich, but they recognized that they’re not in Macao yet. If Macao exists the smaller timeframes and Las Vegas will, at a city, build a larger trends. It’s really just a simulator of an important role.
