Budapest is ready to host the next stop of the European Poker Tour

Author: CasinoSystems  //  Category: Poker

The third event of this year’s season for the European Poker Tour will be held in the Hungarian capital, Budapest. It is the first time that an EPT event will be hosted in this scenic city in eastern Europe and this fact clearly illustrates the growth of poker in Hungary.

There is already a fair amount of local players who have left their success mark in the world of poker. Featured Hungarian players include Richard Toth, Denes Kalo and Valdemar Kwaysser who have significant international distinctions.

The EPT website states that the tournament, with the official name Hungarian Open, will have a buy-in € 4350, while the satellites at PokerStars have already begun.

“The EPT Hungarian Open … will certainly act as a magnet for a large mass of international players, and of course for the growing poker audience of Hungary,” continues the website of EPT.

We remind you that for this year’s 6th season of the European Poker Tour, we already had the events in Barcelona and London. After Budapest the EPT will take place in Warsaw (Poland) in November.

The poker-mania has taken over the old continent and the best European casinos don’t lose the opportunity to host an event of EPT. Although we are in the vortex of a global financial crisis, all of the EPT tournaments are sold out, while the participations for the main events go beyond 300 in each of this popular poker tour!
